The smudge tool on the Layers Pro app is supposed to act like when your blending together oil pastels on paper, like we did in class. The similarities of this app to the old fashion way with oil pastels are that they both blend together colors pretty well and they are both helpful when you are drawing things such as the 3D forms we did in class, or anything with value. Some difference can be noticed in how smoothly you can blend things together on the iPad. I accomplished learning more about digital art. I learned that blending on the iPad can be pretty fun, and to be enjoyed by many people. Technology is very useful and important in Art because it is everywhere. You can usually get your hands on computer. You can do alot of amazing stuff on technology, especially art.
